But the joke is that castle miner z is online and here it is not. I really want to play but not with whom.. nice world space, unique find and repair system, i like it. plethora of weapons and attachments. plenty of repair parts all over, just need to find the ones you want to repair the vihicle you want to repair. sometimes they are all close at hand, sometimes a few miles away at a farm or gas station. game could have been a contender, STILL CAN if they would just add bot support or mod support to allow pvm to come into play. "wild and dangerous" wild life would be a bonus too. nothing quit like a srprise attack from behind by say.....a black bear.. its pretty garbadge. A rather cheap game with poor graphics and gameplay. Basically you run around a large map collecting gear and weapons as well as supplies to repair and fuel the various vehicles laying around the map. Along with that you can squad up with other players or just fight everyone and you have to escape the island with briefcases that have been scattered around the map. I have to say that both the sprinting and hunger ideas they put into the game suck. The sprinting looks completely unrealistic to other players that see it and there's not nearly enough food to prevent hunger damage.The one main thing that kills this game though is the serious lack of players. Most of the time I search for a server there isn't even one to play on, this game just never "took off" and it's been dead for a long time now.. good game not bad graphics, fun to play with friends. Overall a fun game. just be aware since it is new the player base is fairly low currently, and you may need to tweak your settings a bit to get the shadows to work right and not put you in pitch black void. this has the feel of a battle royal with a twist: you can work in teams or alone, and the goal is to collect briefcases and escape the island. you also need to make sure you don't starve. So content wise and playability wise I do recommend it. it is fun once you get a group of people playing ,but once again it only just came out so here's to hoping more people will get into it.. First and foremost, Even I am questioning the thumbs up I give thise game, but let me explain, and at the same time review, this game as best I can and maybe you'll understand why. The Idea of this game seems to be a Combination of Arma 2 or 3 Wasteland servers, and SOS. Arma 2 or 3 Wasteland servers, are essentially Pubg without always being tied to a Match based game. Spawn randomly with or wihtout squad mates, find a gun, kill some people, die, respawn shortly after, repeat. SOS is a match based PvP/Pve Battle royale esq. style game for streamers (Both performing and watching). For those not familiar You get dropped on an island with 4 idols somewhere on it. You can choose to team up with others or go solo to find one, However in the end only the ones carrying an idol will leave. This game seems to be a cheap combination of the 2. You can join an ongoing game and join in any open squad or empty squad or even remain outside of squads and play solo. Once your in it seems you find one of so many briefcases then literally just get off the island an leave, and once your far enough away you will have escaped and be victourious. Not sure if that means the rounds server ends, or if you just happen to get currency, or something like that (Havn't played too much yet). Now the controls are a bit sluggish but I've seen worse in a $10 game. The visuals are definetly nothing special to look at. The combat is ok, it works without question, whether I died or not, I knew what happened wasn't some sort of error of hit registration. Also servers don't seem to lag, +1 on that. But there doesn't seems to be a community for this game. You look for a game and find one with maybe 5 people total. I'm glad you can join an ongoing game or it would be hell waiting for one. It has some potential to grow into something better, but we'll see who sticks around to wait for it. Honestly this is day one (On steam), I'd save your money, at least for a bit, and wait for some improvements to come along, I'm enjoying it somewhat, but I'm hoping after a day or 2 on steam the population will pick up. Either way, just wait and watch. And if visual and control improvements are made, I'd give it a try, its fun when you do happen to find some sort of combat.
